We consider how people work before recommending changes to their technology. This keeps the conversation focused on meaningful improvements instead of tools for their own sake.

About
Secada Consulting

Why Secada Consulting Exists
Bryan Kerr founded Secada Consulting in 2008 in Ridgeland, Mississippi, after seeing how easily technology problems could consume a business owner’s time. Organizations needed more than someone who could repair a computer. They needed practical guidance from people who understood how systems, software, security, and day-to-day operations fit together.
That perspective shaped Secada Consulting into an outsourced IT department for small and medium-sized businesses. Our work addresses recurring frustrations such as unreliable systems, software that slows employees down, disconnected processes, uncertain backups, and technology costs that are difficult to anticipate.
We take a business-focused approach to every technical decision. Before recommending more technology, we look at the tools already in place, how employees use them, and where reliability or efficiency can improve. Our goal is to explain the options clearly, avoid talking down to people, and help each client make informed decisions within its priorities and budget.
Today, Secada Consulting supports professional services organizations across the Greater Jackson Area, including accounting, engineering, architecture, insurance, legal, and nonprofit teams. We combine proactive oversight with structured onboarding and practical support so clients can spend less time managing IT problems and more time moving their organizations forward.

How We Work with Clients
Start with the Business
Look Beyond the Immediate Problem
A recurring issue may point to a larger weakness in a system, process, or plan. We examine the broader environment so recommendations address root causes where practical.
Communicate with Respect
Clients often tell us they appreciate working with professionals who are personable and never talk down to them. We explain technical subjects in clear language and welcome questions throughout the process.
Bring Structure to IT
Our onboarding is formal, checklist-driven, and organized around defined projects. That structure helps establish clearer accountability and a stronger foundation for ongoing support.
